Jerry Bennett is the founder of Privateer IT, established in fall of 2014. As a U.S. Navy submarine veteran, Jerry secured Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) certification for the company, as well as HUBZone certification. Jerry serves as the CEO of Privateer IT and is responsible for the overall leadership of the company including operations, business administration, strategic marketing, business development, and market diversification.
Prior to establishing Privateer IT, Jerry spent over 20 years with several engineering companies as an enterprise consulting architect specializing in virtualization, cloud and automation. Previously, Jerry has worked at Harris Corporation, Sirius Computer Solutions and International Business Machines (IBM) in roles of increasing responsibilities. He is ITIL, SCRUM certified and Virtualization certified. He holds a B.S. in Information Technology.
