Jerry Bennett, Owner and Navy Veteran, chose the name Privateer IT with his naval background in mind. A privateer is an armed ship owned and officered by private individuals holding a government commission and authorized for use in war, especially in the capture of enemy merchant shipping. Just like this majestic ship, we are a private business, providing the highest level of service to our government clients.
